KOMPAS Terms of Service

1. Definitions

In these Terms of Service:

• Application — the KOMPAS mobile application distributed via Google Play Store (Android) and Apple App Store (iOS).
• User — the natural person who has installed the Application on their device and uses it.
• Administrator — Lidia Brózda (an individual residing in Poland), operating under the brand AI Bridge., contact: contact@aibridgeco.com, website: aibridgeco.com.
• Service — the functionality made available to the User through the Application, including the 7-phase values calibration process, archetype mapping, optional AI insights, and the Time Capsule feature.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the KOMPAS Application, you accept these Terms of Service in full. If you do not accept these Terms — do not install the Application, or uninstall it from your device.

The Application requires no account creation or personal data input to acceptance — using it is equivalent to accepting these Terms.

3. Service Description

KOMPAS is a tool for personal values reflection. The Service includes:

• 7-phase calibration process — from selecting among 140 values, through successive filtering rounds, to a pairwise tournament Arena and final result presented as your archetype.
• 14 archetypes + 18 hybrids (when your result falls between archetypes).
• AI insights (optional) — the "Look deeper" feature, triggered only by an explicit click, generating text via an LLM model (GLM-4.7-Flash via Cloudflare Workers AI).
• Time Capsule — optional reminder to recalibrate after 90/180/365 days, with comparison between previous and new result.
• Three interface languages — Polish, English, French.

The Application is free to use. Users may optionally support the Administrator via the external BuyMeACoffee service (Section 9).

4. User Accounts — NONE

The KOMPAS Application requires no account, no registration, and no login.

• No email address required.
• No password to create.
• No connection to Google, Apple, Facebook, or any other identity provider.
• No personally identifiable information (PII) submitted.

Your results are stored locally on your device. The Time Capsule feature uses an anonymous device identifier (UUID) to synchronize backup — details in the Privacy Policy.

5. Permitted and Prohibited Use

Permitted:

• Using the Application for personal reflection.
• Sharing the generated "archetype card" (PNG) on social media or messaging apps.
• Citing your results in private journaling, conversations with a coach, therapist, or close ones.

Prohibited:

• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Application's code.
• Automated use (bots, scrapers, mass-invocation of AI insights to bypass rate limits).
• Resale of access to the Application or to your results as a product.
• Scraping Application content for the purpose of training competing AI models or unauthorized publication.
• Using the Application in any way that violates law, including misleading others about a "diagnosis" or "recommendation" allegedly originating from the Application.
• Using KOMPAS results to make decisions about OTHER people (recruitment, partner evaluation, family or legal matters, or any formal assessment of someone without their knowledge and consent) — the result is a personal reflection tool for its own user, not a psychometric test capable of evaluating third parties.

Violation of these rules may result in restricted access to backend features (Time Capsule, AI insights) and may give rise to claims by the Administrator.

6. Intellectual Property

• The Application's code, visual design, the "KOMPAS" trademark, and the umbrella brand "AI Bridge." are the property of the Administrator and protected by copyright law.
• The list of 140 values and 14 archetypes as used in the Application is the Administrator's original compilation.
• Schwartz's Theory of Basic Values (Shalom H. Schwartz, 1992 and subsequent publications) is a public-domain academic framework. The Application is inspired by this framework and cites it under fair use for academic and educational purposes. The Administrator does not claim official affiliation with Shalom H. Schwartz or his institutions.
• Jungian-inspired archetypes are general cultural concepts — the Application makes no claim over the concept of "archetype" itself, only over the specific compilation of 14 archetypes + 18 hybrids designed for KOMPAS.

Users receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Application for personal purposes.

7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

KOMPAS is a tool for personal values reflection. The Application is NOT:

• a psychological or psychiatric therapy service,
• professional coaching or career advice,
• a clinical diagnosis or a psychometric test in the clinical sense,
• a substitute for consultation with a doctor, psychologist, therapist, career counselor, lawyer, or any other licensed professional.

KOMPAS results and any conclusions generated by AI features are material for personal reflection only. Do not make any significant life decisions — career, health, financial, relational, educational — solely based on Application results. When in doubt, consult a licensed professional.

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal thoughts, or any urgent mental health concern — please contact professional help (e.g., your country's emergency number, or international resources such as findahelpline.com).

The Application is provided "as-is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. The Administrator does not warrant:

• absence of bugs in code or content,
• continuous availability (the Application may be discontinued or temporarily unavailable),
• fitness of results for any particular User purpose,
• accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.

Limitation of liability: The Administrator's maximum aggregate liability to any User for any claim related to the Application is limited to the amount received from that User during the 12 months preceding the claim. For version 1.0 the Application is free, meaning this amount is EUR 0 / USD 0 / PLN 0, unless the User has voluntarily contributed via BuyMeACoffee — in which case the limit equals the sum of those contributions.

This limitation does not exclude the Administrator's liability where such exclusion is impermissible under mandatory provisions of Polish law (e.g., liability for willful misconduct).

8. AI Insights — Specific Disclaimers

The "Look deeper" feature (Polish: "Zajrzyj głębiej"; French: "Regardez plus loin") uses a Large Language Model (LLM) hosted on Cloudflare Workers AI. The model currently in use is GLM-4.7-Flash; the Administrator reserves the right to change the model provider without prior notice.

The Administrator further reserves the right to temporarily or permanently SUSPEND the "Look deeper" feature without prior notice, in particular in the event of exhaustion of infrastructure provider limits (e.g. Cloudflare Workers AI free tier), cost changes, or other operational constraints. The remaining Application features (calibration, archetype, Time Capsule) work independently of AI availability.

AI-generated content:

• may be inaccurate, false, inconsistent, biased, or otherwise erroneous (commonly known as "hallucinations");
• is not reviewed by the Administrator before being shown to the User;
• does not represent the views of the Administrator or any professional;
• is not authoritative knowledge — do not cite it as a source or a "diagnosis";
• is not advice — no AI suggestion should be treated as a recommendation to act.

Use of AI insights is optional and requires an explicit, conscious click of the "Look deeper" button. You may use the entire Application (calibration, result, archetype, Time Capsule) without ever invoking AI.

The content of your selected values and archetype may be transmitted to Cloudflare Workers AI to generate the response — see the Privacy Policy (Subprocessors section) for details.

9. Payments

Version 1.0 of the Application is free. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or paywalled features.

Users may optionally support the Administrator via the external BuyMeACoffee service (link available in the settings screen and on the result screen). When clicking the link, the User leaves the Application and arrives at a BuyMeACoffee page, which is governed by:

• BuyMeACoffee's own Terms of Service,
• BuyMeACoffee's own privacy policy,
• BuyMeACoffee's own payment processing (e.g., via Stripe).

The Administrator does not have access to the User's card data, does not collect payment data, and does not store transaction information beyond what BuyMeACoffee makes available in its creator dashboard.

A BuyMeACoffee tip is a donation — it does not entitle the User to any additional service, premium feature, or priority support from the Administrator.

The Administrator reserves the right to introduce premium features in future versions of the Application (e.g. deeper AI insights, PDF export, extended result history). Features currently free will remain free — premium will apply EXCLUSIVELY to new features not available in version 1.0. Users will be notified in the Application at least 14 days before any premium feature is activated.

10. Modifications to These Terms

The Administrator reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Material changes will be communicated to Users by:

• displaying a notice in the Application at next launch following the change,
• updating the date at the end of this document at aibridgeco.com/kompas/terms.

Continued use of the Application after the change has been displayed constitutes acceptance of the new version of the Terms. If you do not accept the new version — uninstall the Application.

Minor editorial changes, typo fixes, and link updates are not considered material changes and do not require separate notice.

11. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by Polish law.

Any dispute arising from use of the Application shall be resolved by the Polish court of general jurisdiction competent for the Administrator's place of residence in Poland, unless mandatory provisions of law (e.g., consumer protection law) point to another competent court.

Users who are consumers retain all rights granted under mandatory provisions of Polish and EU law, including the right to use out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms (e.g., the European Commission's ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr).

Consumers residing outside Poland but in another EU/EEA country additionally retain the protection of mandatory consumer-law provisions of their country of habitual residence (Rome I Regulation, Article 6).
